Description

we are looking for a talented director of product marketing to build a best-in-class product marketing practice, lead go-to-market strategies, and articulate our unique value proposition to drive awareness, adoption, and customer success.

as morning’s director of product marketing, you will help translate market insights and product strengths into clear and competitive messaging, bridging gaps between departments and defining business-driven gtm strategies for morning’s core and sub products. once users sign up and begin their free trial, your team’s kpis will focus on optimizing user onboarding, driving product adoption and encouraging expansion to premium pricing tiers. you will report to the vp marketing and work closely with the product team.


responsibilities

  • product marketing strategy. develop and implement a robust product marketing strategy aligned with morning’s business goals. define and articulate the morning platform’s unique value proposition (uvp) and messaging to the different customer segments/personas across all channels.
  • go-to-market leadership. own the go-to-market strategy and execution for new product launches and feature rollouts. collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of gtm activities.
  • customer & market insights. conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. synthesize research into customer insights and market opportunities. 
  • positioning & messaging. translate customer insights into compelling positioning, messaging, and storytelling for our target audience. establish the uvp for new and existing products, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across channels and teams.
  • audience & segmentation. define icps and segments for targeted messaging and product marketing campaigns. develop content per segment/product, including in-product communications, sales enablement materials, social engagement, etc.  
  • pricing & packaging. experiment with different pricing and packaging options to find the best fit for each tier and icp
  • ab and user testing. use different testing methodologies to validate messaging and optimize for adoption and expansion.
  • performance & optimization. track and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives against adoption, upsell and arpu kpis, providing actionable insights to refine strategies.


Requirements

  • 5 years in product marketing within a saas environment; experience in both b2c and b2b a plus.
  • proven ability to build and lead a product marketing practice, including team management.
  • strong ability to develop and execute strategies that align with business objectives.
  • exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and presentation skills.
  • a team player with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization.
